Invariably, all things do not go perfectly and as planned, but in these rare cases Tejas is the company in our industry that stands behind its work and makes sure its work is completed properly. Our culture is based on pride in a job well done and our people have the experience and training along with the fortitude, grit and positive attitude to take the steps necessary to make sure each step for each client is done well.
The word “Tejas” (Tay-has) is derived from usage among East Texas Indians before the coming of the Spanish. The usual meaning was “friends,” although some tribes applied the word to “allies.” The Spanish picked up the word from the native Indians and began to refer to the people and area as Tejas. There are several theories on how the word survived and its variant spellings, but the meaning of “Friendship” carried through and the name of our state was apparently derived from the same source. We like the meaning and the history of this and believe it is fitting for our company, based in Texas and forming friendships with our clients and community.
