This is a 1348-3 high tensile, fixed-knot fence mesh. It's a great choice for a number of applications. It's a very robust fence.<br /><br />It's got smaller holes at the bottom that graduate to larger holes at the top, more dense at the bottom, where smaller predators or varmints<br />might try to come through the fence.<br /><br />In this application, we have also a hot-wire that runs along the bottom so that if an animal or predator did try to dig under, they get a nice shock and it teaches them not to come back.<br /><br />So the fence is great for sheep, goats. It's good around a yard where you might have domestic dogs in a large yard. It's also good to keep wild dogs out. <br /><br />It's also used as a horse fence. The openings are small enough that horses can't get their hooves through it, If you have pawing horses.<br /><br />On this fence we've also got an extra barbed wire at the top. It's about five inches above the top of the 48. So it gives a little bit more deterrence to climbing or jumping.<br /><br />On this installation, we also have some rock at the bottom. That's because we have some drainage that comes through that ends up at the pond you see behind me. That's just to promote the ground staying in place, but to let the water flow through.<br /><br />The fixed knot on this fence in conjunction with the high-tensile wire, which is incredibly strong.<br /><br />Give a very robust fence that lasts for many years.
